Every change your OpenAPI contract can express is detected for free; Pro is where your team decides, with approve or reject per breaking change, a check that blocks the merge until sign-off, and a record of who accepted what.
Both tiers post a status check. Free fails it; Pro turns it into a breaking-change gate you clear by approving.
That page shows the free check name oasdiff / breaking-changes and the Pro check name oasdiff / API changes.
Approve each change → check turns green → merge unblocks.
The review address on that page has the shape oasdiff.com/review/…/my-api/42.

The receipt, in sentences already on this site
CodeRifts reads the diff of the contracts a pull request touches — OpenAPI, GraphQL, protobuf, AsyncAPI and MCP tool manifests, together as one change set. (FAQ)
On GitHub, a required check refuses the merge until a receipt for that diff verifies on the runner; the receipt names the operation it was granted for (merge, deploy, publish or a tool call) and expires. (FAQ)
The open verifier checks it offline against a pinned key snapshot — no account, no call to us. (Portable verification)
The required reader context is CodeRifts / contract-gate, GitHub Actions 15368. (What each path does)
A reader who already runs oasdiff keeps that check. The reader action on this site is the GitHub Actions setup, which points at the contract-gate README at commit 6d515a7.
